Is it worth it for me to try to paint my bathroom myself?

I have no supplies for painting and no experience. Would it be worth it to try and paint my bathroom myself or hire someone for $100.00 for one coat?Is it worth it for me to try to paint my bathroom myself?
Personally, Nicole, I'd get the supplies and paint it myself. You can get help at the paint or hardware store on what you need. Take the measurements of the room and the number of doors and windows. You don't have to buy the most expensive products. Latex paint cleans up with soap and water. Work from the top down and do any trim last. Take your time. Once you work through this first project you'll have most of the tools you'll need to do more if you feel like it.Is it worth it for me to try to paint my bathroom myself?
Do it your self . You will be proud when your done.Use a water base paint and go slow . Tape off your corners . Use a 4'; roller for your trim , and the large roller for the wall . Use a brush for the tight spaces . Put down an old sheet for catching the drips . Keep a bucket of water close and a sponge or towel for messes .Go slow and clean as you go . Painting can be fun . Once you get good at it , you will be painting the whole house . Have Fun!
Firstly one coat is not enough you want at least two.

Just get a roller, brush and paint it yourself.

When you tackle little jobs like this every time they come up you get better and better become more self sufficient and get the satisfaction of seeing something you accomplished.

Put the radio on and have some fun..

Oh and COVER THE FLOOR

Good luck
Do your research online and then you can see if you're up to the task:

If you end up hiring someone, make sure to protect your vanity and other accessories from the mess. Like some people said, that is a good price for a somewhat tricky task. Good luck!
If you can afford it, I would hire someone to do it. To me it's worth the money. Unless it's something you enjoy doing, for me it's a lot of messy work. Pros's make it look easy and they do a much better job. But I think you should get 2 coats for $100 unless it's a really big bathroom.
$100 is cheap. Hire someone to do it. You may have oil based on the walls currently which will require a different approach than latex. Heck! the paint alone is going to cost at least $30 add in rollers/brushes and it is really only costing you $50 to have it painted. Sounds like a great bargain.

yes and its fun just get a little paint off the walls and base board and go to a Loews are hard wear store and they are more then willing to help you and you can tackle bigger and better and there is a lot to say i did it my self and keep going
i would just do it yourself. its not that hard and bathrooms are pretty small anyways. you could finish it in one day and save yourself $100!
