Is there a way to paint bathroom tile that's already installed?

I am redoing my bathoom and the floor and some of the walls are pink tile. I don't like pink so I wanted to change it, but with out reinstalling and more tile. Is it at all possible to paint it?? Thanks!

You can paint tile ..here is a link on it..I would suggest getting paint from a reputable store like Sherwin Williams, and stay away from the hardware stores products..I really don't suggest painting tile floors..but if you must..here is a link. Again do not ask the so called pros at Home depoit, Lowes etc. ...most of them only know what they were taught out of a book..go to a place where paint contractors buy REAL paint and get REAL info that is legitimate..

Yup. Lightly sand the tiles after you've washed/dried them. By sanding them it roughs up the surface to take the paint.


Then find a paint that is waterproof, exterior paint or paint for patio furniture. Try your local craft department.


Otherwise purchased a new tub surround at your local home improvement store.
yes you can and they have speical kind of paint for that so make sure when you go nuy your paint you tell the people at the paint store exactly what you are doing so they know what kind of paint to give you.
