What color should I paint my bathroom?

I was thinking about a yellow color, but I have very pale pink tile around the sink and in the shower, do you think yellow would work? If not to you have any other ideas? What color should I paint my bathroom?
Janelle!!!!

You should definitely paint your bathroom a really soft creamy yellow color. I don't really like the idea of a light green because it seems to pasteley (if that's a word) and reminds me of a watermelon. : ) When you go to pick out your color though, go to Home depot, because they have this really cool color matching thing. You just bring in something to the store that is the same color as tile (pink) then the computer will tell you what shades of a color will look good with it. The only other color i could think of that wouldn't clash with the pink tile is a light beige color, kind of like the my living room at my mom's house ( if you remember that color lol). When you go pick out paints, I want to go! : ) Oh and remember yellow always dries brighter than you think it will. Michelle made that mistake with the first color she chose for her room, and it was like post it note yellow lolWhat color should I paint my bathroom?
I would think a light natural beige like the colors of a seashell. If you look at a seashell it has some pink pearly reflection to it and looks nice with a sand color. Lowe's has a pretty soft color called Sandy Shell that I've been thinking about using in my own bathroom. Maybe use white or light blue or turquoise for accents and if you have windows, use some natural bamboo blinds or find some nice bamboo baskets for storing soaps, towels, etc. Hope I helped and good luck!
Maybe a light yellow or green

maybe baby blue

or what about a light blue with double vertical yellow stripes with a bit of distance between each set?

Paterns are a nice touch and tiled walls look great too : ]
I would go with an ice green color.
try the same pale pink a little richer shade or some other light color to make the bathroom look bigger and more healthy..
i think yellow would be fine or even a pale green. but DO NOT paint pink all around-that's what we had before and it really gets to be an eyesore. hope this helps! ~Cheeso
I saw this question when I went to my email...and I was thinking you should paint it yellow..(before I saw you said that)...but not bright..like a creamy color like my room..that would look fine with pink tile..that would look very nice you should do it...=)
My Favorite Color GREEN
Yellow would work with pale pink tiles if you have some accessories to tie the 2 together. Pale pink %26amp; light yellow sound like a victorian garden to me.

I think Aqua (pastel) and the pale pink would look good. You could incorporate a muted tropical fish theme.

Whatever YOU decide to do will probably be what you like best. Go for it! : ) Good luck.
For sure a pale green color. I have a pale green and pink bathroom and I get compliments all the time. The walls are pale green with pink trim and I have a lamp with a pink shade and other asserories that are pink and green and my shower curtain is green with pink thingy's that hold it to the rod.I have a green waste basket with pink flowers. I mean everything in there is pink and green The knobs on the pale green cabinet are pink. I decorated it with frogs too!! I love my bathroom. Oh but u ask if yellow would work..I guess if its all u have it would but I wouldn't do it unless I had to. Try holding together pink and yellow than try pink and green. See what u like the best and do what u like...Happy painting!!
yellow and pink look nice. but deff go with a light color cuz if you go with red or anything itll refelct on ur skin and make u look diff like when u do ur makeup n stuff. i think about lil things lol.
A very pale, soft butter cream would be so pretty. I would recommend that you also introduce a little ';spring green'; (pale yellow-green) into your scheme. This will make the cream and pink ';POP';.

You will need to work in a little more pink and somewhat less green in to keep everything in balance. Perhaps a shower curtain with a little of the green in it along with either pink or cream or use other accessories. with the green. Paint a aged hamper cream, with the lid pink. Fabric valances for the shower curtain in co-ordinating colors, etc.

Best Wishes
pale gray or silver
