the plastic light cover is a long rectangle and it has yellowed over the years.Does anyone know what kind of paint to use to paint a plastic bathroom light fixture? Jacqui?
i work as a paint sprayer you can buy a plastic primer that you use as an undercoat before you apply the topcoat.clean the plastic up well first though grease and dirt will have settled there over the years.Does anyone know what kind of paint to use to paint a plastic bathroom light fixture? If the plastic on the light fixture is pealing or is looking bad, you can try that recently new product that will let you spray paint plastic products. I know you can find it at Wal-Mart.
make sure to use a plastic primer, but them I would use some kind of latex paint. this won't crack in the bathroom humidity.
buy an oil based white primer and paint the light cover first with it. let dry. paint one more coat of primer. let dry 24hrs. then paint two coats of what ever color you want.
